BayCISS was supported with food and bags, and we now contribute monthly to their New St Outreach Program, supplying the non-perishable food items.
PHONES & GLASSES FOR A CAUSE
Our generous community donated 95 more used mobile phones to DV Safe Phone, bringing our total to 158 phones donated to survivors of domestic violence.
We also passed on another 372 pairs of preloved prescription glasses to U3A Bentleigh, 91 of which were donated by Longreach Learning & Activity Centre (Chelsea)—bringing our total to 615 pairs of glasses donated!
AGED CARE SUPPORT
As part of our NFP aged care initiative, we delivered care items to residents at Warrawee Community, with transport donated by the fantastic crew at Top Removals.
At Vasey RSL Care, Brighton East, our founder, Deb, was invited to speak during National Volunteer Week. We also donated beautifully handmade fiddle rugs for dementia residents.
CREATIVE DONATIONS & TOY REVIVAL
Hundreds of donated naked Barbie & Ken dolls have been cleaned, dressed, and given new life thanks to our community who made & donated hundreds of outfits and the fabulous team at Sewing for Charity Australia, who donated 200 handmade outfits!

GENEROSITY & GRANTS
Huge thanks to Yarra Yarra Golf Club and All Souls Op Shop for their generous donations.
We were honored to be a finalist in Kingston Council's Community Group of the Year Awards in May, and it was great to reconnect with Mayor Georgina Oxley, a longtime supporter from her hands on help during the 2020 bushfires.
In April, we won the Grill’d Local Matters Jar initiative! Thank you to everyone who voted for us!
