The board & committee of Bayside Community Emergency Relief are excited to announce that BCER’s founder Deb Brook is a finalist in 2021’s Westfield Local Hero competition and we need your votes!
Deb was nominated within the community for this prestigious opportunity. This is an acknowledgement for her hard work & dedication to Bayside Community Emergency Relief and our mission which is to empower those experiencing hardship and tragedy by mobilising our amazing community to help provide requested emergency aid and supplies when a disaster arises.
What does this mean? It means that by voting for Deb, Bayside Community Emergency Relief gets a chance to win $10,000 to fund comfort packs for children fleeing domestic violence. These packs provide much needed essential & mental health support to children at a crucial & stressful time in their lives.
